Jesus is my focus - my heartbeat - and equipping people to worship is one of my favourite things to do.

Steve started leading worship aged 13 in a church that used a car battery to power the sound system. Things have definitely changed since then!

As well as leading worship, Steve is also a trained coach and partners with local and national organisations to provide training for future and current teachers, as well as bands and church music groups. Do get in contact if you would like training, a speaker, or coaching support.

  • Local Church

    Steve leads worship regularly for the local church serving Pursue Network. He has led everywhere from small countryside churches to HTB church plants serving as Worship Lead.

  • Local Events

    Running Plymouth's Unity Festival, supporting Love South West and Bridge Church Women's Conference, Steve has worked both in leadership and in a supporting role to see the local church thrive.

  • National Festivals

    Steve has led worship at Big Church Festival, Focus, Creation Fest and David's Tent working with team members from across the country.

  • International Work

    Serving Upstream Ministries, Steve was able to lead worship for and support an international network of home churches that developed following lockdown.

Equipping People to Worship

Throughout lockdown, Steve worked with churches across Devon and Cornwall, equipping them to continue worshipping God in their circumstances. This video was created towards the end of the lockdown period and includes many of the people that Steve connected with during that time. It’s a beautiful glimpse of what can happen when we worship God together in unity.

Do you need a worship leader?

I've been leading worship across the South West and beyond for more than two decades. I love visiting different churches and meeting different expressions of church. If you need someone to lead worship and I'm free, I'm there.

Do you need advice or support?

I am a fully trained coach, working with the National Centre of Computing Education as a Senior Professional Development Lead. Transferring these skills into the church, I am always happy to help invest in worship leaders, worship teams and support the local church. Do get in contact for more information.
